WHO Phi Kappa Delta Social Club joined together with Delta Gamma Rho and Omega Phi to participate in Harding’s annual Spring Sing, and won 1st place over 5 other groups, winning a cash prize for local charity Joseph’s Place.

WHAT Spring Sing is an annual musical revue run on by the Harding theater department. Over 11,000 people come for the production that has over 1,000 performers. Each club/group of clubs performs a 7 minute show that is organized and executed entirely by student directors. The goal of Spring Sing is ultimately to raise money for local charities through winning cash prizes given by the school.

MY ROLE Director. My specific role spanned from theme ideation, music selection and editing, weekly meeting attendance, budget creation + utilization, recruiting cast members, choreography creation, costume design, prop design, social media management, communication between directors and cast using Flare, editing of graphics that run behind the show, and running rehearsals for a cast of almost 150 students, and much much more. (Basically I spent half my life in spreadsheets and the other in a mirror room.)
